The Pa Dept of Tourism and the Pa Council of the Arts have designated the PA Festival of Films a 'premier' event within the state.

   Leywood Sloan, Director of Cultural Tourism, calls the festival a "stellar event in the constellation of outstanding festivals in Pennsylvania." The state hosts some 1,800 festivals with 32 receiving 'premier' designation.
